Terms and Conditions - Creators on rong.digital

Effective Date: 6 June 2025 Last Updated: 20 June 2025 Welcome to rong.digital, a digital product marketplace that enables creators to showcase and sell their digital creations including but not limited to eBooks, templates, printables, software, and courses. By registering as a Creator on rong.digital, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you (the Creator) and rong.digital. 1. Registration & Onboarding Creators must register with accurate personal and/or business details including: Full name / Company name Permanent Account Number (PAN) Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) Active Bank Account details rong.digital reserves the right to verify and approve creator accounts prior to activation. 2. Product Listing & Approval Creators may upload digital products to their dashboard. Product types allowed: eBooks, printables, templates, software tools, online courses, and other digital downloads. All uploaded products will be subject to an internal review by rong.digital’s admin team. rong.digital reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove listings based on platform guidelines, quality control, legal compliance, or community standards. 3. Ownership, Copyright, and Legal Responsibility Creators represent and warrant that: All products uploaded are original and produced solely by them. The products do not infringe any copyright, intellectual property rights, or trademark laws. The products do not violate any provision under the Indian Penal Code or any other applicable laws. The content is not misleading, defamatory, offensive, or harmful to public sentiments. All copyright and ownership of the product remain with the creator; however, rong.digital holds the license to display, promote, and sell the product through its platform. 4. Financials, Commission & Payout rong.digital will charge 15% commission on the total sale amount for each transaction within India. This covers platform maintenance, server costs, and payment gateway charges. The remaining 85% of the net sale amount will be transferred to the creator’s registered bank account within 15 business days from the date of successful transaction. Creators must ensure the selling price of each product includes 18% GST, where applicable. 5. Invoicing & GST Compliance Each transaction will be invoiced against the creator’s GSTIN, if available. In case a creator does not have a GST registration, rong.digital will issue the invoice under its own GSTIN and deposit the applicable taxes. Creators are responsible for their tax filings and ensuring their GST compliance on income earned from the platform. 6. Platform’s Limited Liability rong.digital is a facilitator/marketplace and does not take ownership of the products listed by creators. The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of any product and does not provide any warranties or endorsements. rong.digital’s product review is limited in scope and does not imply legal validation or certification. All legal, compliance, social, and quality responsibilities of the products rest solely with the respective creators. 7. Content & Community Guidelines Creators must avoid uploading any product containing: Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content Hate speech or discriminatory material Fake, plagiarized, or misleading content Viruses, malware, or executable files that may harm users Violations may lead to product removal, suspension of account, or legal action. 8. Customer Interactions and Refunds rong.digital will handle customer communication and transactions on behalf of creators. All digital product sales are considered final and non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed or required by law. Any dispute raised by customers regarding the quality or authenticity of a product will be communicated to the creator for resolution. 9. Termination and Account Suspension rong.digital reserves the right to suspend or terminate any creator account under the following conditions: Repeated violation of terms or community guidelines Upload of illegal, plagiarized, or harmful content Misuse of platform features or fraudulent activities Inactivity for more than 6 months (with prior notification) 10. Modification of Terms rong.digital may update these terms from time to time. Creators will be notified via email or platform dashboard of any material changes. Continued use of the platform post-changes implies acceptance of the updated terms. 11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. 12. Additional Clauses (Standard from E-commerce Platforms) Creators authorize rong.digital to market and promote their products across multiple digital channels. Creators are responsible for backing up their content. rong.digital will not be liable for any data loss due to technical issues. Creators shall not misrepresent themselves as employees, agents, or partners of rong.digital. Creators are prohibited from diverting customers or promoting external links leading away from the rong.digital By registering and listing products on rong.digital, you (the Creator) accept and agree to abide by all the terms mentioned above.
